Chief Deputy Supervisor of Elections
Mary Hall joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 1986 and is responsible for assisting the Supervisor of Elections in achieving the objectives of the organization. She provides leadership, management and vision to ensure proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and appropriate staff are in place, resulting in operating efficiency. She administers and implements directives and policy decisions of the Supervisor of Elections. Mary oversees all election operations and reports directly to the Supervisor of Elections.
Manisha Ball joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 2019. She comes to the Supervisor’s office after having previously worked in the Accounting Division for Broward County. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Election Day Operations Director
Pat Nesbit joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 1990 and is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Election Day Operations Department including Polling Places, Poll Workers, and Training, under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections.
Patricia Santiago joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 2005 and is responsible for managing and performing the day-to-day administrative functions for the Supervisor of Elections, department heads, and the office generally. She serves as communication coordinator for voters, staff, vendors and county personnel.
Voting Equipment Center (VEC) Director
Dozel Spencer joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 2005 and is responsible for the overall planning and directing activities of the Voting Equipment Center under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections. His work involves responsibility for the administration and direction of all warehouse operations. He is responsible to ensure cost efficient and effective preparation for elections including distribution and collection of equipment and supplies.
Candidate & Elections Services
John Way joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 2008 and is responsible for the management and administrative work of Candidate Qualifying and municipal liaison functions. John is the chief liaison for candidates, political parties, political committees and municipalities in Broward County. He serves as the custodian of all candidate and political committee’s filings as well as financial disclosure filings for appropriate Broward County public officials. Apart from candidate functions, John is responsible for overseeing the Initiative Petition process, Public Record Requests, Election Audit, and coordinates Election Security with law enforcement.
Information Technology Director
John Wolf joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections in 2019 and is responsible for managing, planning and directing the activities of the Information Technology Department. He is responsible for the administration and direction of all staff and functions of the Information Technology Department. John is responsible to ensure cost efficient and effective operation of information technology services.
