Chief DeputySupervisor of Elections
Mary Hall joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on May 4, 1986 and is responsible for assisting the Supervisor of Elections in achieving the objectives of the organization. Provides leadership, management and vision to ensure proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and appropriate staff are in place, resulting in operating efficiency. Administers and implements directives and policy decisions of the Supervisor of Elections. Overseas all election operations and reports directly to the Supervisor of Elections.
Tiffany Bedran is the newest member of the management team and comes to the Supervisor’s office after having previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Children’s Trust and as a Manager in Broward County’s Financial Reporting department. She is a graduate of Tulane University and there earned her CPA designation.
Voter Education and Outreach Director
Gino Herring joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on April 21, 2003 and is responsible for the administration and direction of the voter education and outreach efforts of the office.
Election Day Operations Director
Pat Nesbit joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on July 16, 1990 and is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Election Day Operations Department including Polling Places, Poll Workers, and Training, under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections.
Information Technology Director
Jorge Nuñez joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on April 25, 2005 and is responsible for managing, planning and directing the activities of the Information Technology Department. He is responsible for the administration and direction of all staff and functions of the Information Technology Department. Mr. Nuñez is responsible to ensure cost efficient and effective operation of information technology services.
Patricia Santiago joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on November 21, 2005 and is responsible for managing and performing the day-to-day administrative functions for the Supervisor of Elections, department heads, and the office generally. She serves as communication coordinator for voters, staff, vendors and county personnel.
Voting Equipment Center (VEC) Director
Dozel Spencer joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on October 3, 2005 and is responsible for the overall planning and directing activities of the Voting Equipment Center under the direction of the Supervisor of Elections. Work involves responsibility for the administration and direction of all warehouse operations. He is responsible to ensure cost efficient and effective preparation for elections including distribution and collection of equipment and supplies.
Public Services Director
John Way joined the Broward County Supervisor of Elections on January 22, 2008 and is responsible for the management and administrative work of Candidate Qualifying, municipal liaison functions and Administrative Assistant to the Broward County Canvassing Board. John Way is the chief liaison for candidates, political parties, political committees and municipalities in Broward County. He serves as the custodian of all candidate and political committee’s filings as well as financial disclosure filings for appropriate Broward County public officials.
