BROWARD COUNTY VOTE-BY-MAIL DROP BOX AND RETURN OPTIONS

BROWARD COUNTY VOTE-BY-MAIL DROP BOX AND RETURN OPTIONS
Ft. Lauderdale, Florida – In light of voter questions regarding the return of Vote-By-Mail ballots through the United State Postal Service (USPS), the Broward County Supervisor of Elections reminds Broward County voters of the different, convenient options for returning their Vote-By-Mail ballot:

1. By Mail through the USPS: Vote-By-Mail ballots have pre-paid postage built into the return envelopes. Voters returning a Vote-By-Mail ballot by mail should provide as much time as possible for the USPS to deliver the ballot as ballots must be received – not post-marked - by 7:00pm on Election Day, August 18.

2. 24-Hour Drop Boxes: There are two around the clock, secure drop boxes available now for voters to deliver their ballots to the Supervisor of Elections at the following addresses:

Voting Equipment Center at the Lauderhill Mall
(Rear Entrance)
1501 N.W. 40th Ave.
Lauderhill, FL
Broward County Administration Building
115 South Andrews Ave.
(Brickell Avenue Entrance)
Fort Lauderdale, FL

3. Early Voting Locations: There will be drop boxes conveniently located at all 22 Early Voting locations during voting hours beginning August 8 through August 16. Early Voting locations can be found on the Broward County Supervisor of Elections website. “Voters have a variety of options for returning Vote-By-Mail ballots. If anyone has any misgivings about using the USPS, there are 24 separate, secure drop boxes locations available leading up to Election Day. However, voters are strongly encouraged to avoid giving their private, Vote-By-Mail ballots to strangers,” said Broward County Supervisor of Elections, Peter Antonacci. “The goal here is simple--secure and convenient Vote-By-Mail ballot delivery options.”
