Broward County, FL. (September 4, 2015) – The Broward County Supervisor of Elections office is happy to announce they are now on Twitter.

The elections office launched its official Twitter channel-@browardvotes- with the aim of increasing the accessibility and availability of election news.  Among many topics, the channel will be used to educate and inform voters about election dates and deadlines, election day worker recruitment, candidate qualifying, and events where the election office will be present. Additionally, the Broward Election will tweet about informative frequently asked questions (FAQs) and voting video links.

“Our office is consistently identifying innovative ways to connect with the community,” said Dr. Brenda Snipes, Broward County Supervisor of Elections.  “We recently enhanced our website and we are on Facebook. Now we are tweeting.  We will use a variety of media outlets to connect with Broward’s diverse voting population.”
