Initial Candidate Filing Forms:

DS-DE 9 – Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Depository

DS-DE 84 – Statement of Candidate.  Judicial Candidates must also submit DS-DE 83 – Statement of Candidate for Judicial Office 

2020 Qualifying Dates:

Federal and Judicial:

Noon, Monday, April 20, 2020 through noon, Friday, April 24, 2020

State and County:

Noon, Monday, June 08, 2020 through noon, Friday, June 12, 2020


NOTE:

All Loyalty Oaths submitted at qualifying must now be notarized. (F.S. 99.021)

 

Petition Process (2020 Countywide Election)


Federal and Judicial Candidates 
may begin collecting signatures after filing the Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository form (DS-DE 9) with the qualifying officer. The candidate petition forms must be reproduced by the candidate using the format prescribed by the Division of Elections. The deadline for submitting signed petition cards to the Supervisor of Elections for signature verification is PRIOR TO NOON, March 23, 2020.

State and County Candidates may begin collecting signatures after filing the Appointment of Campaign Treasurer and Designation of Campaign Depository form (DS-DE 9) with the qualifying officer.
