Voters to Receive Sample Ballot in the Mail


Broward County, Florida (July 21, 2010) -Broward voter households should be on the look out for a Generic Primary Sample Ballot arriving in the mail shortly. The sample ballot contains the candidates for the Primary Election and important election information that will help the voter prepare to vote.

For this upcoming August 24th election, please remember that Florida is a closed primary state and only voters with a major party affiliation are eligible to vote in a primary when electing that party’s nominee for the general election. All voters, regardless of affiliation may vote for nonpartisan races and issues.
